Mind Lint

Mind Lint

“Mind Lint zine is about radical thought, Maoritanga and freedom from capitalism. It aims to discuss and inform from a different perspective to not only mainstream society but main thought avenues of minority and fringe groups.”

Sarsha

Mind Lint is a zine authored by Aotearoa punk legend Sarsha Leigh-Douglas (Ngāti Maru, Te Arawa, Ngāti Raukawa, Ngāti Kahungunu) who produced seven issues from 2007-2012. Drawing on her Maori heritage Mind Lint offered a rare indigenous perspective on punk, politics, pandas and nanas, mixed in with her insightful views on colonialism in Aotearoa and abroad. Sarsha played in numerous punk bands from Te Whanganui-a-Tara during Mind Lint’s five year run including: Shortlived, Coexister, Fantails, Rogernomix and Freak Magnet and she currently (in 2026) plays in doom band DAHTM.
