My favourite venue hands down was The Adelaide. Not just to play but to get completely retarded in. Paul really had a good thing and the bar staff were rockin. If you had a show there, the venue was yours to pretty much do what you wanted. It was refreshing to have a dive bar off the beaten track with no security and wall to wall drunks just out for a good time. One time while we were playing this dude puked on himself while standing up, then passed out and shit himself before he hit the floor. The most vile stench instantly poured from his anus and attacked our senses but the beer was cold and plentiful and the music was fast and loud. Long live The Adelaide!
