Turret House is an address in Newtown, Wellington, that has been home to a large number of punks and their bands since the 1990’s. Built in the first decade of the 20th century the wooden room beneath its distinctive turret has been used as a practice space for bands such as Meth Drinker, Rogernomix, Fantails, The Johos, Bordger, Unsanitary Napkin and many more. The long-running zine, Always Never Fun, has also been produced from the punk flat.
