Sparkle Motion was a hardcore punk band active from 2003 – 2005 at a time where heavy riff-driven hardcore was dominated by throw-down displays of machismo. Sparkle Motion played a similar musical style while critiquing the exclusion of women and politics within the hardcore scene.
After the band split-up in 2005 Sam and Sarsha formed fast-punk band Shortlived, and following that band’s end in 2009, the d-beat crust band Rogernomix. Kallie was also vocalist in Poodles and Gomorrah/ Akaname.
