In a period of uncertainty and forced acceptance of a new condition, the internal workings of J. S. Dimery have been electronically processed through various hardware in a cathartic recording session in the winter of 2018. Under the moniker Mutation, they have attempted to smoke out the year’s demons, turning consuming lament into an aural placebo.

Synthesising an obsession with body horror and a lifetime of aggressive skin conditions with a deeper intention to endure and understand the modern world and all of its inhumane and ecological sufferings. Mutate and survive as your surroundings turn sour. Adapt to a new world without those dearest. Harness innermost thought into artistic process, and perhaps the light will burn again.
