Just Like Always

Just Like Always

Just Like Always was a Wellington, New Zealand-based punk band formed in early 2002. Originally a five-piece, the lineup featured Shaun Jones (guitar), Chris (vocals), Simon Allison (guitar), Rigaz (drums), and Ferris (bass). Known for their fast, melodic punk sound, the band recorded a three-song demo in mid-2002. In November 2002, vocalist Chris departed, with Shaun taking over both vocals and guitar duties. In May 2003, bassist Ferris traveled to Australia, and Morgan from indie band Vocoda stepped in on bass. The band recorded their EP, Fast As You Can, in July 2003 at Matrix Digital Studio, releasing it on July 24 with a performance at Bar Bodega. Just Like Always disbanded by the end of 2003. Post-split, Simon Allison formed punk band Cop Car, Shaun Jones started alt-rock band Stingfish, and Rigaz joined metal band Nort.
