Short Girls were a four-piece punk band from Wellington, New Zealand, formed in 2014. The lineup consisted of Peter Harrow on vocals, Glen Oakes on guitar, Oskar Larson on drums, and Andrew Boyes on bass. The band emerged as a side-project while members were active in other bands: Harrow and Oakes were playing in the hardcore punk group Starving Millions, and Harrow was also involved with the ska-punk act Dimestore Skanks.
They released their debut EP, Two Month Turnaround, in December 2014, and made their live debut in January 2015 at a show alongside Starving Millions and Odd Bodz. Activity remained sporadic over the following years. Their final performance likely took place around September 2, 2016. In 2017, after the band had effectively ended, a five-song download EP titled Shorties was released posthumously.
