Alternative Routes was a street festival held on March 15, 2003 on Kensington Street and at Underground Arts on Wigan street. Organised by Blair Jones the event was a part of the community activism raised in opposition to the inner city bypass project that planned to construct a motorway extension through the inner city precinct of Te Aro.
