The Steroids released this third and final single in November, 1981, shortly before they broke up. The band’s sound on tracks “Shadows” and “A Sign Of The Times” has left behind the basic three chord punk of their first single, Mr Average/ Out Of Control (1980) adding synths into the mix and pointing to the future direction of Jimson and Drey when they founded seminal synth band The Body Electric.
