Ripfacer were a Wellington band that played crusty grind. They released a cassette of an early live desk recording from Valhalla in 2015 before doing split tapes in 2016 with South Island bands Slitzrkrieg and Arm + Hammer respectively. A discography was released by Auckland label Hairy Palm in 2017 after the band had called it quits. Then in 2020 some tracks recorded in 2016 were unearthed and these tracks were newly mixed and released as a split with Napier band Life Is Hate. The song Pigstomper previously only appeared on the Destroy Napier 2016 compilation cassette, but was missed off their posthumous discography cassette.
Mitch, Gaz and Jamie went on to form Endless Stench in 2016, a similar style crust grind band.
